Your Opportunity
Due to growth in the business, Primero are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team based at our head office in Osborne Park. This role encompasses developing systems, procedures, processes, techniques, and IBMS governance. You will also be required to support the information and data management team to successfully deliver timely and accurate information and data to the projects. With a strong focus on business reporting, data analytics, evaluating, analysing, and improving business processes within the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all Primero procedures, standards, and processes, while also identifying areas of improvement.
- Assisted in the design and maintenance of Power BI dashboards ensuring timely insights into business operations and KPIs
- Support the senior analyst in gathering, validating and interpreting business data from multiple sources
- Participated in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional systems specifications
- Collaborated in the analysis of existing systems and workflows to identify opportunities for automation or optimisation
- Monitored scheduled reports and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyse business systems mapping, workflows and support process improvements
- Participate in regular team meetings to contribute ideas, track project progress and ensure deliverables aligned with business objectives
- Assist business functions to define the data required for reporting and integration purposes, including the tables, the fields within each table, and the format of the field and frequency of transfer required.
- Actively participate in the collaborative, inclusive, diverse, value-add, proactive and organised business systems team.
What You ‘Can Do’
- University degree preferred Business, Computer Science or a related field.
- Previous demonstrated experience in data and or information management (essential)
- Experience with data integration and data modelling
- Proficiency in Power BI, building reports DAX and data modelling (essential)
- Working knowledge of relational databases
- Familiarity with data lakes and cloud platforms
- Experience of gathering business requirements and documentation.
- Experience working in a Construction and Engineering environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
