Your Opportunity
The Site Project Controls Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project controls, including planning, cost management, and resource planning for major process plant construction projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to Primero procedures, standards, and processes; identify areas for improvement.
* Lead Site Construction Planners, Cost Controllers, and Site Administrators interfacing with the Project Home office.
* Develop project controls site work instructions, procedures and tools.
* Oversee collection, validation, and reporting of hours and construction progress.
* Manage the progressing against the Quantity Hour Report (QMR) and alignment with schedule activities.
* Utilise and refine construction progress tracker tools for reporting and analysing metrics.
* Responsible for construction planning, progress measurement and reporting to Construction team.
* Chair site construction progress sessions; update project construction performance metrics.
* Identify and communicate change impacts via the MOC register and to the Commercial and home PM team.
* Prepare and deliver project reporting deliverables with the Project Controls Manager and reporting Coordinator.
* Collaborate with construction, Client and Project Management stakeholders.
* Provide planning coverage for site planners as needed.
* Identify risks, opportunities and suggest mitigations.
* Understand scopes, pricing schedules, commercial frameworks, and reporting obligations.
* Fulfil role-specific HSE responsibilities and KPIs per Primero HSE Management procedures.
What You ‘Can Do’
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE
* University degree preferred (Engineering, Science, or similar discipline), but not essential.
* AACE / ACES qualification preferred, but not essential.
* 10 - 15 years’ experience in project controls essential, with +7 years in a senior or Lead role.
* Experience in the Construction and Engineering, particularly in the Resources and Mining industries.
* Experienced operator of planning and cost management tool essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong statistical and analytical reporting skills.
* Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI.
