Your Opportunity
Based in Kalgoorlie, WA on a FIFO 2:1 roster, the Procurement Officer will be focused solely on Primero’s $1 billion Construction Project — a Greenfields Upgrade of a Gold Processing Plant. Responsible for the administration functions surrounding purchasing and the expedient provision of all required goods and services in accordance with Primero’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Procurement Modules within Microsoft D365
- Primary Point of Contact for Project Purchasing and Inventory Enquiries.
- Run stockholdings re-order reports through Microsoft D365
- Support Site personnel with purchase order processing Inventory Management.
- Data Entry & Reporting within Microsoft D365
- Develop professional working relationships with Suppliers.
What You ‘Can Do’
- 2+ years’ experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar administrative position.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Processes.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to interpret part requirements.
- Intermediate skills within Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
- Excellence in customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience with Microsoft D365 will be advantageous.
- Formal Qualification in Business and Administration will be highly regarded.
