Your Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing corporate team. Reporting to the General Manager- Commercial and Supply Chain, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of the procurement strategy. You’ll work closely with all key stakeholders to deliver procurement outcomes that balance price, quality, reliability, and timeliness.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful leadership and guidance to project sourcing teams, ensuring procurement aligns with business priorities and safety standards.
- Lead and support strategic sourcing activities, from requirements analysis and specification development to preparing sourcing documentation.
- Develop and maintain procurement reporting metrics for multiple levels within the business.
- Define award criteria, select suppliers, and oversee contract execution and handover with a focus on clarity and accountability.
- Co-create Service Level Agreements with stakeholders, setting clear KPIs and shared goals.
- Manage the preparation of tender documentation and packs for release to the market for all project supply of materials, fabrication, services and installation as required.
- Manage the procurement process for all scopes from EOI through to award as determined by the projects ensuring that suppliers, subcontractors and consultants are fully aware of their obligations for project delivery, with the support of the project team disciplines.
- Maintain awareness and reporting on changing commercial risk profiles throughout the duration of an agreement and or project life cycle.
What You ‘Can Do’
- Bachelor's degree, as a minimum in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Commerce)
- 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles. (With in the engineering, construction, resources, energy, infrastructure industries is preferred).
- Minimum 4 plus years’ experience as a Procurement Manager managing small to medium sized teams.
- Proven track record in supplier commercial negotiations, contract management, and project delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical evaluation acumen of “whole of business “and procurement reporting.
- Demonstrating a commitment to HSE through, personal example, leadership and participation in established working practices.
