Your Opportunity 

We are looking for a Principal Electrical and Instrumentation Designer to join our growing team. 

 Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and to other project stakeholders.
• Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule and integrity requirements are met.
• Ensure effective communication to the entire E&I team regarding changes and updates to workflows and guidelines. 
• Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data.

What You ‘Can Do’

• 12+years experience as an Electrical Designer. 
• Electrical and instrumentation design experience of industrial plants, refineries, or infrastructure in the mining/minerals processing or oil and gas industries. 
• Previous experience leading a team and managing resource allocation.
• Previous experience and a willingness to check drawings. 
• Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices.
• Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
• The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment. 
• Keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to producing deliverables. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
